Set Up Your Library - Reading Portrait

A few ways in

The more complete your library, the more expressive your Reading Portrait can be. Pick whichever route feels closest to how your reading actually lives right now:

Bring in a list — export from Goodreads or StoryGraph, or use our template. The fastest path if you've tracked before.
Photograph a shelf — aim your camera at a bookcase, the titles appear. Up to ten shelves at a time, which is plenty to begin.
Build book by book — search and add, one title at a time. Or paste a list of titles and they'll all land at once.
Get suggestions — unlocks once your shelves have a book on them, so the suggestions can see what you're already drawn to.

How others find you

Six quick choices. Defaults are gentle — you can change these anytime from Account.

Searchable profile Other readers can find you by name or username and send a friend request. Allow followers Readers can follow you one-way to see what you share. No friend request needed. Reader page Open a page that shows only what you've chosen to share to friends and followers — your reading identity, Reading Paths, monthly letters, year in review, and the Reading Lists you've published. Public reader page Your Reader page but discoverable by the Reading Portrait community. You'll also appear for readers with shelves like yours. Share what you're reading When you move a book to Now Reading, a quiet "beginning [book]" note appears in the Reading Room feed for friends and follows. Share your reactions When you finish a book and mark it Enjoyed or Not for Me, offer to post that reaction to the feed. Turn off to skip the prompt entirely.
